How to add a shadow on my image with The GIMP?

Begin by resizing your image in a format that corresponds to your KingEshop store.
To help you with the size of your image, you can view the question ''How to resize an image with The GIMP ?'' of the category ''Image Processing'' of the FAQ.
Click on the button ''Filtres'', then click on ''Ombres et lumières'' and finally on ''Ombre portée''.

Enter numbers in the appropriate spaces and make your tests to see that it is the shade you like the most.
If you enter 0 in ''Décalage X'' and ''Décalage Y'', the shadow will appear identical on each side, as if a spotlight illuminates your face from the front.
You can change the numbers to change the trajectory of the shadow.
Make sure that the selected color is black and that the case ''Permettre le redimensionnement'' is checked.

Click on ''Valider''.
The image now has a shadow.

The image also consists of a second layer that you need to merge with the first.
To do this, simply click on the button ''Image'' then on ''Aplatir l'image''.
Attention, your image is now a little larger at first.

You need to resize one last time if you want specific dimensions for the product for example.
Click on the button ''Image'' then on ''Échelle et taille de l'image''.

Save your image.
Note : You can cancel your changes and retry by clicking on the button ''Edition'' then click on ''Annuler (nom de l'action)'' or by do the combination of Ctrl + z on your keyboard.
