Important :

The function ''Settings shipping costs'' is divided into three sections :

a ) Elimination of shipping cost

b ) Amount of minimum shipping cost

c ) Type of calculating shipping costs

a ) Elimination of shipping cost :

This section includes two functions :

By configuring one of these two functions, the shipping cost will be zero, regardless of other settings you have made for postage.

Important :

By selecting this function, there will be no charges on the bill if the customer chooses to pick up his order at your store.

To activate this feature, information about your company for billing must be completed correctly. The section ''Information about your company for billing'' is available in the section ''My site web'' - ''General Settings'' - ''Information available on the invoice''.

If you forgot to fill a field in the section ''Information about your company for billing''. When you try to check the function, the following message will appear :

By clicking ''OK'', you'll be automatically directed to the section ''Information available on the invoice'' and you can then fill in the missing field.

The function appears in the section ''Shipping information'' of the customer's bill. It's the link ''I will pick up at the store''.

When your customer clicks on the link ''I will pick up at the store'', there will be no shipping cost added to invoice.

By selecting this function, you let the charges are free if a customer orders a certain amount (amount you enter in the box ''Limit amount:''.

Example : you want the shipping cost is free if your customer buys more than 50 euros. In the field ''Limit amount:'', you must register 50.

c ) Type of calculating shipping costs :

This section includes five functions :

Measurement of weight :

By clicking on the down arrow, you have a choice between ''Grams'' and ''Ounces''. This allows you to calculate the weight of your product in grams or ounces.

Group :

By clicking on ''Create'', the package delivery appears at the bottom of the page below the shipping package that we created in Example 1.

In the invoice if the customer chooses the shipping package that we created, charges of 9.99 euros is added to the invoice.

Note ( 1 ) : The delivery of packages you can offer the customer the choice between several transportation companies.

Example : you use the companies Colissimo and Fedex for delivery of your packages. You can configure several packages delivered by weight and delivery days. See example below :

In the invoice, the customer will have a choice between several transport companies according to the weight of his order and its territory.

Note ( 2 ) : If the customer's bill, there is the word ''Choose'' which is available in a choice of packages delivered, because no package delivery did not match the customer order.

This is because there is no package delivery group for the territory of the client or because there is no package delivery for the portion of weight control.
